A dedicated cosplayer and seamstress for over a decade, they specialize in historical and fantasy designs with a love for embroidery and intricate detail. After a brief pause between 2020 and 2022, they’re reigniting their passion for cosplay and storytelling through costume. One of their favorite moments was meeting a young fan while cosplaying Thalia Grace at Oz Comic-Con—a reminder of the joy and connection cosplay brings.

By day an architect and by passion a cosplayer, saxtonthornstar has spent over a decade blending technical skill with creative costume design. Known for DC-themed armor builds and now exploring prosthetics, they love the joy cosplay brings—especially when kids light up seeing their favorite hero. Whether mistaken for a statue or sharing laughs at cons, they see cosplay as a way to connect, escape, and express.
